The pool area was fantastic, with my kids loving every moment. We also got to enjoy some family time at the tennis courts, which felt like the ultimate play zone. The breakfast options were hearty and a great start to our days.
In my wife’s opinion, a microwave in the room could be helpful for late-night kid snacks.

The facilities were impressive, especially the athletic areas, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms seemed basic for the price, and noise from early morning gym activities disrupted sleep. Overall, it was a decent stay, but improvements are needed for a more restful experience.

The Deluxe King Room offered spacious accommodations with a stunning view that really captured the heart of the city. Having access to a comprehensive fitness center promised a solid workout experience, despite my own mixed feelings about the facilities.
The ongoing renovations in the weight section were a major letdown, significantly limiting access to the workout equipment that initially attracted my stay. Not to mention the early morning disruptions from gym activities that echoed through the walls, making it hard to enjoy what should have been a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, getting around felt a bit like navigating a maze, with unclear directions leading me on unnecessary detours. Sorry folks, I couldn't contact anyone at the front desk when I needed help, which felt particularly eerie in such a large space. And let's be real, those earplugs provided on the nightstand were a telling sign of the noise issues some guests might face.

Great Athletic Facilities, Room for Improvement
I enjoyed the friendly staff and the impressive fitness amenities, especially the swimming pool and hot tub. However, the room could use some updates. it was too bright in the morning, making it hard to sleep in. Don’t skip the outdoor space—it’s a gem for relaxation!

The breakfast at Chromium was pure fire, and those locally sourced pancakes? Simply divine! Loved the spacious room and oh boy, the hot tub in the spa complex was a treat! Can't forget about the yummy drinks poolside—perfect for chilling out after a workout.
Waking up to some gym bro dropping weights upstairs was a bit of a buzzkill, but nothing could ruin our Chicago spirit!
